Nelson Martins Design will implement our proven Website Solution System that caters for expansion and flexibility in allowing the content of the site to grow without any major re-structuring or re-design to the core. This means FREE search engine listings, not (lower-click-through) pay-per-click advertising because of he way we construct and execute our websites' framework.
Our CORE Model revolves around four (4) major components - that ultimately play a vital role in determining wherether your website will be a success or a failure. These Core Elements are:
- Client Core Objectives; This is the central core of the Web Model™ and the KEY factor that will dictate any conceptual design or strategy. Your web based solution will be reverse engineered with the “end in mind”.
- Major Competitors; Analysis of Major Competitors is a vital ingredient to ensure any Design or Strategies used are in context of your business environment. An environment which your clients or customers will be referencing any comparitive (or competitive) product of service providers. This also enables the opportunity to benchmark your business in context of the “environment” which is projected to your prospects.
- Target Market; Understanding your Target Market will enable us to better influence their behaviour. We are strong believers of Cicero’s Principal which states “if you wish to persuade me, you must think my thoughts, feel my feelings, and speak my words.” We can only begin to achive this by understanding your Target Markets thoughts, feelings, concerns and hot buttons to compell them into action.
- Current Industry Trends; The relevance your Industries Trends play in the role of your website solution will be based on what level of the Revised Chasm Bell-Curve (by Geoffrey Moore) your Target Market sits in the context of your product or service.
The bell-curve itself depicts the five stages of a Market / Industry life span which covers:

1. Design & Artwork Production
- Research & Component Analysis; This involves both analysis and dissection of the Model Core. Which as already discussed, covers: a) Your Websites Core Objectives, b) Analysis of Your Companies Major Competitors (from a visual, structural, and strategic approach).
- Concept Development & Strategy; Based on the findings of the Model Core, our website design concepts and strategy framework will commence. This ensures that by the time we commence any visual aspects - the core strategy and framework will already be established.
- Design Application & Artwork; Design Concepts and Pre-liminary working Artwork is prepared. Everything at this stage is extremely rough (visually), as the goal is not to perfect every bit of artwork, but to quickly and effeciently establish which design solution best meets the required Objectives and Criteria (in Context to the Model Core).
- Design Development & Refinement; This is the refinement process from which we develop and enhance aspects of the previous stage - in collaboration and alignment with our clients. All artwork and designs are finalised at this stage before coding and construction occurs.
2. Site Construction & Coding
- Site Development & Construction; Your website will then be turn from a ‘visual image’ info the constructed framework.The initial construction phase can sometimes be rather lengthy, although we throughly test and trial everything on both Mac and PC platorfms
- Photography & Illustration Executed; Both photography and illustration takes place at this stage wherether inhouse or outsourced.

3. Local & Remote Site Testing & Upload
- Cross Platform Browser Testing (Mac & PC);
The internet has different platforms using the very same website browser. So, Internet Explorer exists on both Mac and PC. Various browser testing reports will be filled in by our Testing Team for Confirmation, Verification and Quality Control.
- Diagnostic & Hand Code Correction; Dignostic Issues and Incompatibilites are troubleshooted by hand, which means that we don't leave this up to software programs to diagnose and resolve. We firstly Identify Any Trouble Spots (via the Cross Platform, and Multiple Browser Testing) and proceed to Hand Correct Any Issues within the code itself.
- Form Testing; Forms are tested to ensure workability, and normally sent directly to the client (the the remote testing email assigned to a project).
- Upload / Launch; Your website is upload onto the backend of our own site, and re-tested online for any linking issues and server-side problems.
